About VMAX Rising (Japanese)

VMAX Rising is a Japanese Sword and Shield era expansion that helped introduce the VMAX mechanic to the Pokemon TCG. The set centres on the Galar starters and a spread of regional favourites, giving collectors a clean, focused checklist to chase. Because this is the Japanese print run, the cards have tighter centring and a glossier card stock than the English equivalents, and the set includes Secret Art Rare and Alternate Art treatments that were never produced for the English release.

Inside the 7 cards we currently have in stock, you will find Inteleon VMAX 023/070 (JP) as the headline VMAX pull, along with the V line for each Galar starter: Inteleon V 022/070 (JP), Cinderace V 016/070 (JP) and the popular Sandaconda V 075/070 (JP) Alternate Art. Boltund V 031/070 (JP) and Dubwool V 062/070 (JP) round out the V cards on offer.

Rarity tiers in this collection

Shoppers will recognise three main tiers here. Double Rare covers the standard V cards (full body art with the V mechanic). Triple Rare covers VMAX cards such as Inteleon VMAX. Super Rare and the higher Alternate Art slots cover the full art V cards like the 075/070 Sandaconda, where the Pokemon is shown in a scene rather than a posed portrait.

Condition and shipping

Every Japanese single listed is mint or better and stored in a sleeve and top loader from the moment it is pulled. We ship Australia-wide with tracked postage from our Brisbane base, usually within one business day of your order being placed.
