The Sun and Moon Era

The Sun and Moon block ran from 2017 to 2019 and reshaped competitive Pokemon TCG with the introduction of GX cards, Tag Team mechanics, and the now beloved Alolan Pokemon. This era is a favourite among collectors who recognise it as the bridge between the XY block and the Sword and Shield generation, with sets like Team Up, Unified Minds, and Cosmic Eclipse producing some of the most chased modern cards in the hobby.
