This is Whimsicott VSTAR, card 050/100 from the Japanese Star Birth set. It carries the Triple Rare classification, the rarity used for VSTAR cards and marked by the three black star symbols. VSTAR was a key mechanic of the Sword and Shield era, building on Pokemon V with a once per game VSTAR Power, and these cards sit at the top of the V to VSTAR line that collectors like to assemble together.
Whimsicott is the evolved form of Cottonee, first introduced in the Unova region and known for its fluffy, breezy design. As a Japanese release, this copy uses the original Japanese print and text, suiting collectors who prefer their Star Birth cards in the first language printing. The full foil finish brings out the soft artwork, and the card pairs well with its matching Whimsicott V for anyone completing the line or building the Star Birth set.
