This is Mega Latias ex, card number 049/063 from the Japanese Mega Symphonia set. Mega Symphonia is a Japanese release centred on the return of Mega Evolution to the trading card game, and this Mega Latias is a Japanese printing as noted by the (JP) in its title. The card is an ex, the modern lower case card type that offers higher hit points and a larger knock out reward, and it carries the Double Rare classification, the two star rarity used for ex cards.
Mega Latias is the Mega Evolved form of Latias, a Legendary Pokemon from the Hoenn region often paired with Latios. The Mega form is admired for its refined, graceful design, and Mega Evolution cards continue to draw collectors who enjoyed the mechanic in earlier eras. Japanese printings carry extra appeal for those who favour original language stock and clean foil finishes. With the 049/063 numbering placing it within the main set, this Double Rare Mega Latias ex is a strong addition for a Mega Symphonia collection or a Latias themed binder.
