Yanmega EX is a Japanese card from the Mega Dream EX set, numbered 003/193. Yanmega is a returning favourite among collectors, and seeing it given the EX treatment adds a fresh reason to seek the card out.
The EX mechanic marks this as a single powerful Pokemon with a larger hit point pool. Its rarity is Double Rare, the modern classification used for EX Pokemon and shown by the two black star symbols on the card. That places it above the common and uncommon cards in the set while staying one of the more reachable EX cards to track down.
Collectors look for Yanmega EX because it combines a well liked Pokemon with the bold artwork direction of the set. Its low card number also makes it an early highlight when building a complete run. As a Japanese print, it appeals to collectors who favour the original language release and anyone working towards a full Mega Dream EX set.
