Weakness Guard Energy is a Special Energy card from the Unified Minds set in the Sun and Moon era. As an Energy card it provides the energy a Pokemon needs to attack, while also carrying an additional rules effect that the printed Special Energy text describes, giving deck builders something extra beyond plain basic energy.
This version is numbered 258/236. Because the first number is higher than the set total of 236, it sits above the standard numbering and is a Secret Rare. The Gold tag points to the gold metallic treatment used for these Secret Rare cards, where the design is rendered in a gold finish that sets it apart from the regular print.
Gold Secret Rare Energy cards are popular with collectors who want to complete a Unified Minds master set, and they hold appeal as one of the harder cards to find from that release.
Condition and authenticity
This card meets Monster Mart's Mint condition standard:

- Surface: Free of scratches, dents, creases or smudges
- Centering: Within 60/40 front limit
Every card is authenticated and thoroughly inspected by Monster Mart, and ships tracked from Brisbane in protective sleeves and rigid holders.
