Skeledirge EX is a Double Rare from the Paradox Rift set, card number 137/182. Paradox Rift was a Scarlet and Violet era expansion centred on the Paradox Pokemon theme, and its EX cards form the backbone of the set's chase line up. The Double Rare classification, marked by the black star and the EX suffix on the name, places this among the higher rarity cards in the expansion.
Skeledirge is the final evolution of Fuecoco, one of the three starter Pokemon from the Scarlet and Violet games, which gives this card extra appeal for trainers who chose Fuecoco at the start of their journey. EX cards in this era carry high hit points and powerful attacks, with the trade off that an opponent takes two prize cards when one is knocked out.
For collectors completing the Paradox Rift set, or for fans of the Paldea starters, Skeledirge EX is a rewarding card to add in mint condition. Its starter lineage and Double Rare status keep it on plenty of want lists.
