Sigilyph GX 98/214 comes from Lost Thunder, a 2018 expansion in the Sun and Moon era and one of the largest sets the game has produced. GX cards were the marquee mechanic of that era, identified by the GX suffix and a full holo finish, and each carried a powerful single use GX attack that could be played once per game. Sigilyph, the avian Pokemon known for its mysterious markings, takes the spotlight on this card.
Lost Thunder packed an enormous card list, so the GX cards within it stand out as the headline pulls collectors chase. Sigilyph GX suits those building a Lost Thunder GX run, as well as collectors drawn to the full holo look of Sun and Moon era GX cards. Its place in such a sizeable set gives it a particular interest for anyone working through that expansion.
