Shiftry 163/162 is an Illustration Rare from Temporal Forces, the English expansion released in the Scarlet and Violet era. Shiftry, the Wicked Pokemon, evolves from Nuzleaf and completes the Seedot line first introduced in Hoenn. Its long white mane and leafy fans make it one of the more distinctive Grass and Dark types in the franchise, and full art treatments of it do not come along often.
The card number tells you something straight away: 163/162 sits beyond the set's standard count, which marks it as a secret rare in the Temporal Forces numbering. Illustration Rares are prized for their extended artwork, with the scene stretching across the whole card face rather than sitting inside a standard frame.
Collectors chasing the full Temporal Forces Illustration Rare lineup will need this Shiftry, and fans of the Seedot line tend to favour it as a standalone display piece. It suits both set completion binders and character collections.
