Scizor ex comes from the Temporal Forces set in the Scarlet and Violet era. As an ex card, Scizor brings higher hit points and stronger attacks than a regular print, with the trade off that an opponent takes extra prize cards when it is knocked out, a defining feature of the modern ex mechanic.
This card is tagged Ultra Rare and carries the number 195/162. Because the first number is higher than the set total of 162, it sits beyond the standard set numbering as one of the expanded full art ex cards, where the artwork stretches across the whole card and the ex graphic treatment is applied across the frame.
Collectors look for the full art Scizor ex both as a standout piece of the bug and steel typing and as part of a complete Temporal Forces collection. Its expanded artwork makes it one of the cards that stands out in the set.
Condition and authenticity
This card meets Monster Mart's Mint condition standard:
- Corners: No visible fraying or whitening
- Edges: Smooth and clean, no silvering
- Surface: Free of scratches, dents, creases or smudges
- Centering: Within 60/40 front limit
Every card is authenticated and thoroughly inspected by Monster Mart, and ships tracked from Brisbane in protective sleeves and rigid holders.
