Sceptile 9/160 comes from Primal Clash, an XY era expansion released in 2015 as part of the run that explored the Hoenn region. The card sits early in the set numbering and shows Sceptile, the final evolution of the Hoenn starter Treecko. Primal Clash is best remembered for its Primal Reversion cards, and the wider set offers plenty of recognisable Hoenn species alongside them.
Collectors look for the Primal Clash Sceptile both as a set piece from the XY era and as part of a Hoenn starter line collection. As a card from 2015, it carries the look and frame of the XY series, which appeals to collectors building runs from that period. It pairs well with other Treecko line cards and sits comfortably in a binder focused on Hoenn starters or the XY era as a whole.
