Rare Candy is a Trainer Item card from the Trading Card Game Classic set, here in the version found in the Blastoise Deck. The CLB suffix marks it as the Blastoise Deck printing, one of the three preconstructed decks in the release. As an Item, Rare Candy is a long standing favourite that lets a player evolve a Pokemon more quickly by skipping the middle stage, a tempo tool used across many decks.
The number 026/034 places this card within the standard set count rather than above it, so it is a regular card and not a secret rare. Trading Card Game Classic was issued as a premium boxed collector product rather than a standard booster line, and the Blastoise Deck printing of Rare Candy is sought by collectors completing the full set across all three decks.
Condition and authenticity
This card meets Monster Mart's Mint condition standard:
- Corners: No visible fraying or whitening
- Edges: Smooth and clean, no silvering
- Surface: Free of scratches, dents, creases or smudges
- Centering: Within 60/40 front limit
Every card is authenticated and thoroughly inspected by Monster Mart, and ships tracked from Brisbane in protective sleeves and rigid holders.
