Pinsir comes from Prismatic Evolutions, an English Scarlet and Violet era expansion. This is the Poke Ball printing, numbered 003/131, one of the special pattern variants that collectors associate with the set.
The Poke Ball tag describes the reverse holo finish: instead of a standard foil background, the card carries a repeating Poke Ball motif stamped across its surface. These pattern variants are printed alongside the regular version of the same card, and they are a favourite chase for collectors who enjoy tracking down the alternate finishes within a set.
Pinsir is a classic Pokemon from the original Kanto region with a steady following over the years. The Poke Ball pattern version gives a familiar card an extra collectible angle, and it makes a good fit for anyone completing a Prismatic Evolutions set or building a binder focused on the special pattern cards. It sits nicely alongside the other Poke Ball variants from the same release.
