This is Pikachu and Zekrom GX, a Tag Team promo carrying the Sun and Moon era promo number SM248. Tag Team GX cards combine two Pokemon onto a single high HP card with a shared GX attack that can be used only once per game, and a Knock Out on a Tag Team GX awards the opponent three prize cards.
As an SM Promo, this card was distributed through promotional channels such as boxed collections and tins rather than a numbered booster set, which gives it a distinct place alongside the main set Tag Team cards. It pairs Pikachu, one of the most recognised Pokemon of all, with the Legendary Zekrom.
Collectors look for this card for the lasting popularity of Pikachu, the appeal of the Tag Team GX mechanic, and the broader interest in completing promo runs from the Sun and Moon era.
Condition and authenticity
This card meets Monster Mart's Mint condition standard:
- Corners: No visible fraying or whitening
- Edges: Smooth and clean, no silvering
- Surface: Free of scratches, dents, creases or smudges
- Centering: Within 60/40 front limit
Every card is authenticated and thoroughly inspected by Monster Mart, and ships tracked from Brisbane in protective sleeves and rigid holders.
