Necrozma GX 153/147 is a Secret Rare from Burning Shadows, an English Sun and Moon era set. With the first number (153) higher than the set total (147), this card sits in the secret numbering range, which is where the Rainbow Rares are placed. The Rainbow treatment covers the artwork in shifting pastel colours over a textured holographic surface.
GX was the headline mechanic of the Sun and Moon era. A GX Pokemon brings a large hit point pool and a once per game GX attack, a single powerful move that can turn a match. The Rainbow Secret Rare version reworks the standard GX colour palette into the rainbow finish that collectors chase.
Necrozma is a Legendary Pokemon central to the Sun and Moon storyline, which adds character appeal on top of set collecting. A clean copy of Necrozma GX in the Rainbow finish suits collectors building the Burning Shadows secret list or following the GX mechanic.
