This is Mr. Mime, card number 122/165 from the Scarlet and Violet 151 set, the English release that revisits the original Kanto National Pokedex of 151 Pokemon. Mr. Mime has long been one of the more distinctive faces from that first generation, and seeing it return in a modern set gives collectors a fresh way to enjoy a familiar favourite.
This copy is the Holo version, which carries a shimmering foil pattern across the artwork itself. The 151 set has proven popular with collectors who grew up with the Kanto roster, and the holo cards in particular are sought after for the way the foil lifts the artwork off the card. As a single from a nostalgia driven set, it sits nicely in a Kanto themed binder or alongside the rest of the 151 lineup.
Whether you are completing the set number by number or simply picking up the Pokemon you recognise, this is a tidy addition to a 151 collection.
