Mr. Mime GX 67/181 comes from Team Up, a Sun and Moon era set remembered for its Tag Team cards and a strong line up of GX Pokemon. Mr. Mime is a long running Pokemon from the original Kanto roster, and seeing it given the GX treatment was a treat for fans of the early generation.
As a Pokemon GX, this card belongs to the era's signature mechanic, where GX Pokemon offered a powerful once per game attack. The holographic GX print stands out from the common and uncommon cards in the set, and gives Mr. Mime a presentation worthy of its quirky character.
Collectors look for this card to round out a Team Up set, to add to a Mr. Mime collection, or to gather Kanto Pokemon that reappeared in later eras. Its mix of nostalgia and the GX format keeps it appealing to a broad range of collectors.
