This is Mimikyu VMAX from the Trainer Gallery subset of Brilliant Stars, a Sword and Shield era set. The Trainer Gallery, numbered with the TG prefix, was a special bonus section featured in selected Sword and Shield sets, showing Pokemon in artwork that often pairs them with Trainers or places them in distinctive scenes.
As a Pokemon VMAX, Mimikyu is the evolved form of a Pokemon V, with a large HP pool and powerful attacks. The trade off is significant: a Knock Out on a VMAX hands the opponent three prize cards. The card number TG17/TG30 marks its place within the thirty card Trainer Gallery of this set.
Collectors look for the Trainer Gallery Mimikyu VMAX for its artwork and the popularity of Mimikyu as a quirky, fan favourite Pokemon, as well as the appeal of completing the Brilliant Stars Trainer Gallery run.
