Mimikyu V 068/172 comes from Battle Styles, an English Sword and Shield era set released in 2021 that introduced the Single Strike and Rapid Strike battle mechanics. As a Pokemon V card, Mimikyu V brings a larger hit point pool and a strong attack, balanced by the rule that a knock out awards your opponent two prize cards instead of one.
Mimikyu first appeared in the Alola region and quickly became a favourite for its disguise, a cloth imitation of a more famous yellow Pokemon. That quirky design has made every Mimikyu card a popular target for collectors who enjoy the character as much as the play value.
The 068/172 number falls inside the main numbered run of Battle Styles rather than a secret rare slot. Collectors look for crisp, mint copies to slot into a Mimikyu collection or to round out their Battle Styles binder.
