Mimikyu EX 004 is a promotional card from the Scarlet and Violet era. Promo cards sit outside the standard set numbering, often released through special channels, tins, blisters or event distributions, which gives them a place of their own in a collection alongside main set pulls.

As an EX card, Mimikyu brings the higher attack power and bigger hit points that define the mechanic, balanced by the extra Prize card an opponent takes when it is knocked out.
