This is Metapod, number 011/165, a Reverse Holo from the English 151 set. Metapod is the Bug type cocoon that sits between Caterpie and Butterfree, one of the earliest evolutions any Kanto trainer will remember, which gives it a nostalgic pull within the 151 collection.
A Reverse Holo applies the holographic shine to the card frame and background rather than the artwork window, so the foil pattern surrounds the illustration. Every common, uncommon and rare in a set can appear as a reverse holo, and these versions are pulled in place of standard cards, which makes assembling a full reverse holo run its own collecting goal.
The collector number 011 sits within the printed set size of 165, placing this firmly in the main 151 set rather than as a secret rare. Collectors look for reverse holo Metapod to complete a 151 reverse holo set or to round out a Kanto themed collection.
