This is Luxray BREAK 47/122 from BREAKpoint, part of the XY era. The BREAK mechanic was one of the defining features of this period, where a BREAK card was played on top of its matching Pokemon to power it up, keeping the previous attacks while adding new ones. BREAK cards are printed in a horizontal layout with a striking gold foil finish that makes them easy to recognise.
Luxray has been a popular pick among collectors and players since its introduction, and the BREAK treatment gives it a unique presentation that stands apart from standard cards in the set. The gold sheen across the card is a hallmark of the BREAK line.
Collectors who chase the XY era enjoy the BREAK cards for their distinctive look and their place in the BREAKthrough and BREAKpoint storyline. A clean copy of Luxray BREAK is a rewarding find for fans of the Pokemon and collectors completing their BREAKpoint run.
