This is Lugia VSTAR from Silver Tempest, the English Sword and Shield era set that closed out the VSTAR period. Lugia is one of the most iconic legendary Pokemon, and its appearance as a headline card in Silver Tempest made it one of the most chased cards of its release.
The card carries the rainbow Secret Rare treatment. With the number 202/195, the first number exceeds the size of the main set, which marks it as a Secret Rare that sits beyond the standard numbered cards. VSTAR was the premium collectible format of the era, and the rainbow finish adds a distinctive multicoloured sheen on top of that.
Collectors look for this Lugia VSTAR for the combination of a legendary fan favourite, the prestige of the VSTAR format, and the rainbow Secret Rare styling. It is a recognisable centrepiece for Lugia collectors and for anyone completing Silver Tempest at its highest rarities.
