Kricketune V TG12/TG30 comes from the Trainer Gallery of Silver Tempest, the final main set of the Sword and Shield era. The Trainer Gallery, marked by the TG prefix in the card number, was a special subset that ran alongside several Sword and Shield releases, pairing Pokemon with trainers or showing them in character driven artwork that differed from the main set cards.
As a V card, Kricketune carries a higher HP pool and powerful attacks, with the trade off that an opponent takes two prize cards when it is knocked out. V Pokemon formed the backbone of competitive play across the Sword and Shield era, and the Trainer Gallery versions add a distinct alternate art on top of that.
The TG12/TG30 number places this card as the twelfth of thirty cards in the Silver Tempest Trainer Gallery. Collectors look for cards like the Kricketune V because the Trainer Gallery offers a self contained chase set with its own appeal, separate from the main Silver Tempest list.
