This is Krabby 098/165 from Scarlet and Violet 151, the English set that recreates the full original Kanto Pokedex with new artwork. Krabby is one of the classic Kanto Pokemon, and its place in this set adds another familiar face to a release built around nostalgia.
This copy is the Reverse Holo version. On a Reverse Holo the holographic pattern runs across the card border and frame rather than the picture window, giving the whole card a shimmering background while the illustration keeps its standard look. Reverse Holos are produced for many cards in the set, which makes them a popular route to a parallel collection. The 098/165 number keeps Krabby within the main numbered run of the set.
Collectors look for the Reverse Holo versions when building a complete alternate set or when they prefer the extra shine over the standard print. The recognisable Kanto design keeps this an easy addition for set builders.
