Kabutops is one of the classic Fossil Pokemon from the original Kanto Pokedex, and this card comes from the 151 set, which revisits those first 151 Pokemon with a modern card frame. It is numbered 141/165 and is presented in the Reverse Holo finish.
On a Reverse Holo card the shimmering foil runs across the card border rather than the artwork window, giving it a distinct look from the standard print. Reverse Holos are a core part of completing the full 165 card run, and collectors enjoy the consistent shine they bring to a binder page.
As the evolution of Kabuto, Kabutops carries plenty of nostalgia for fans of the early games and the ancient Pokemon revived from fossils. Collectors building a 151 master set look for Reverse Holo versions like this one to round out every slot and finish in the release.
