This is Hoothoot, card 127/187 from the Japanese Terastal Festival EX set. It is a Poke Ball pattern card, a reverse holo variant where the foiling carries a repeating Poke Ball motif rather than the standard holo finish. Collectors enjoy these patterned reverse holos as an alternate take on the regular set cards, and they make a satisfying sub collection to chase.
Hoothoot is a long standing favourite that first appeared back in the Johto region, so seeing it return in a modern Japanese set is a treat for fans who have followed it across generations. As a Japanese release, this copy uses the original Japanese print and text, which suits collectors who like to keep their Terastal Festival EX cards in their first language. The Poke Ball pattern gives the card extra appeal for anyone assembling a full patterned reverse holo set or rounding out a themed binder.
