This is Hatenna SWSH040, a promo card from the Sword and Shield era. The SWSH prefix marks it as part of the Black Star Promo run that accompanied that generation, with cards handed out through tins, collection boxes and special products rather than booster packs.
Hatenna is one of the gentle Pokemon introduced in the Galar region, the first stage of its evolutionary line. Promo printings like this gave collectors an easy route to add newer Galar Pokemon to their binders, and the SWSH promo run is popular for exactly that reason.
Cards from the Sword and Shield promo series are collected both individually and as part of complete numbered runs, so this Hatenna appeals to set builders and Galar fans alike. This copy has been checked to Monster Mart's mint standard and is ready to slot into your collection or display alongside the rest of the SWSH promos.
Condition and authenticity
This card meets Monster Mart's Mint condition standard:
- Corners: No visible fraying or whitening
- Edges: Smooth and clean, no silvering
- Surface: Free of scratches, dents, creases or smudges
- Centering: Within 60/40 front limit
Every card is authenticated and thoroughly inspected by Monster Mart, and ships tracked from Brisbane in protective sleeves and rigid holders.
