Great Tusk EX (112/190) is a Japanese card from Shiny Treasure EX, the set celebrated for its deep run of shiny Pokemon and full-art cards. Great Tusk is one of the Ancient Paradox Pokemon from the Paldea region, a prehistoric counterpart to Donphan that appears in Pokemon Scarlet, and its rugged design has made it a favourite among Paradox collectors.
This is a Double Rare, the rarity used for EX Pokemon in modern Japanese sets. EX cards bring stronger attacks and higher stats, with the balancing rule that they give up an extra prize card when knocked out. Great Tusk has also enjoyed competitive attention across several formats, which gives the card extra interest for collectors who follow the play scene.
A clean Great Tusk EX appeals to fans of the Ancient Paradox line and to anyone working through this widely chased Japanese set.
