This is Golbat 042/165 from Scarlet and Violet 151, the English set that revisits the full original Kanto Pokedex with updated artwork. Golbat is the evolved form of Zubat and a familiar sight to anyone who explored the caves of the early games.
This copy is the Reverse Holo version. On a Reverse Holo the holographic pattern runs across the card border and frame rather than the picture window, giving the whole card a shimmering background while the illustration keeps its standard look. Reverse Holos are produced for many cards in the set, which makes them a popular route to a parallel collection. The 042/165 number places Golbat within the main numbered run of the set.
Collectors seek out the Reverse Holo versions when building a complete alternate set or when they prefer the extra shine over the standard print. The well known Kanto design keeps this an easy pick for set builders.
