This is Geodude 40/145, a Reverse Holo from Guardians Rising, the English Sun and Moon era set released in 2017. Geodude is one of the classic Kanto Pokemon, and this Reverse Holo version gives the card a shimmer across the full face that distinguishes it from the standard copy.
The Reverse Holo finish is the key point of difference. The holographic pattern covers the border and text areas rather than just the artwork window, so the card catches the light as you move it. It keeps the same artwork and collector number as the regular print, but the reflective surface makes it a separate variant that collectors look for when completing Guardians Rising.
As interest in the Sun and Moon block continues to grow, a clean Reverse Holo Geodude is an easy addition for set builders and for fans of the early Pokemon line up. It sits well in a binder or a set focused collection.
