Froslass 117 is a promotional card from the Scarlet and Violet Promo series, tied to the Twilight Masquerade release. Black star promos like this one are distributed outside of regular booster packs, often through special campaigns, products or events, which gives them an identity separate from the main set.
Froslass is the elegant evolution of Snorunt, a Pokemon that first appeared in the Sinnoh region, and its flowing kimono inspired design has long made it a favourite for promo artwork. Promo cards frequently feature artwork or framing that you will not find in the standard set, which adds to their appeal for collectors.
Because Scarlet and Violet promos are gathered as their own run, this Froslass is a natural pick for collectors who track the promo series or who enjoy the Snorunt and Froslass line. It also offers a tidy way to add a recognisable Pokemon to a Twilight Masquerade era collection.
