This is Empoleon Holo 38/162, an English holo card from the XY era BREAKthrough set. Empoleon is the final form of the Sinnoh starter line, a regal, emperor inspired Pokemon recognised for its proud bearing and crown like crest. It appears here in holo form, numbered 38 of 162.
BREAKthrough was one of the bigger XY expansions, and its holo rares feature the reflective foil across the artwork that collectors look for when displaying a set. As the capstone of its starter line, Empoleon is a rewarding card for collectors who like completing fully evolved starters from a given expansion.
Collectors look for Empoleon Holo 38/162 to complete the BREAKthrough set, to finish the Sinnoh starter line at its final stage, or simply for the appeal of a fully evolved starter in holo form. It is a fine addition for XY block fans who want this card in clean, mint condition.
