Electrode GX 155/168 comes from Celestial Storm, the Sun and Moon era expansion released in 2018. It is a Full Art GX card, a finish that pushes the artwork right to the edges of the frame and gives the holographic backdrop room to breathe.
GX cards were a defining feature of the Sun and Moon series. Each one carries a powerful GX attack that can only be used once per game, so collectors and players alike came to recognise the GX marker as a sign of a chase card. Electrode is a familiar face from the earliest days of the franchise, and seeing it given the Full Art treatment makes this version a favourite among fans who enjoy classic Pokemon rendered in modern card styling.
Within Celestial Storm, the Full Art GX cards sit near the top of the rarity ladder, which is part of why this card remains sought after by collectors building Sun and Moon era sets.
