Dragapult ex 221/187 is a Special Art Rare from Terastal Festival ex, the Japanese high-class set released for the Scarlet and Violet era. Dragapult is the final evolution of Dreepy and a favourite among players and collectors alike, known for its ghostly Dragon typing and its strong presence in competitive play. With a card number of 221/187, this is a secret rare: the first number exceeds the set total, marking it as one of the chase cards printed beyond the standard set list.
As an ex card, Dragapult delivers powerful attacks at the cost of giving up extra Prize cards when knocked out, a trade-off that defines the modern ex mechanic. The Special Art Rare treatment goes further than a standard full art, with extended artwork that fills the entire card face and showcases Dragapult in a detailed illustrated scene.
Japanese printings like this one are sought after for their crisp print quality and distinct texture, and Terastal Festival ex is a popular set for collectors building out the Terastal era. Special Art Rares from high-class sets tend to hold a firm place in collections thanks to their artwork and secret rare status.
