Dialga V (SWSH255) is an English Black Star Promo from the Sword and Shield era. Promo cards carry their own SWSH numbering rather than a set total, and they are released through special products such as collection boxes rather than standard booster packs.
As a V card, Dialga V is a single stage Pokemon with high hit points and strong attacks, with the trade off that it gives up two prize cards when knocked out. Dialga is a Steel type Legendary linked to the theme of time, and the V mechanic was the backbone of the Sword and Shield era, so this promo brings a well known Legendary together with one of the defining card types of the period.
Collectors look for Dialga V both to pair alongside the matching VSTAR and to capture promo releases that were only available through limited products.
