This is Coalossal, a Japanese card numbered 097/193 from the Mega Dream EX set. Coalossal is the final evolution of Rolycoly, a Galar region line, and its bulky design has made it a recognisable presence since it first appeared in the Sword and Shield era.
The card carries a Holo finish, so the Coalossal artwork sits on a reflective foil background that catches the light as the card moves. Holo cards remain a popular choice for collectors who enjoy the shine of foil without moving into the rarest tiers of a set.
Collectors look for this Coalossal to complete a Mega Dream EX set run in Japanese, to add a member of the Rolycoly evolution line to their collection, or simply because they prefer the original language printing. Its place within the set makes it a natural pick up for set builders.
