Chien-Pao EX (054/190) comes from Shiny Treasure EX, a Japanese set with one of the deepest runs of shiny Pokemon and full-art cards in recent memory. Chien-Pao is one of the Treasures of Ruin, the four Legendary Pokemon introduced in the Paldea region, and its sabre toothed design makes it a standout among the group.
The card is a Double Rare, the rarity tier given to EX Pokemon in modern Japanese sets. EX cards offer higher stats and harder hitting attacks, with the balancing rule that they give up an extra prize card when knocked out. Legendary Pokemon such as Chien-Pao draw plenty of collector attention, particularly from those building a complete set of the Treasures of Ruin.
A clean Chien-Pao EX suits collectors following the Paldea Legendaries as well as anyone chasing cards from this heavily opened and well regarded Japanese set.
