Chesnaught V is the Grass type final evolution of the Chespin line, and this card comes from Silver Tempest, the Sword and Shield era set that closed out the V format. As a V card it offers a larger Hit Point total and stronger attacks, with the trade off that an opponent takes two prize cards when it is knocked out.
This printing is the Full Art version, tagged here as Ultra Rare. The Full Art layout fills the entire card face with the artwork and a textured holo finish, giving Chesnaught the spread out, poster style presentation that sets these apart from the standard rare in the set.
The number 171/195 sits within the set total of 195, so this is an Ultra Rare Full Art rather than a secret rare. Chesnaught does not always get the spotlight among Kalos starters, which makes a Full Art version a satisfying pickup for fans of the line and for Silver Tempest set builders.
