Carbink BREAK (51/124) comes from Fates Collide, a 2016 set in the XY era of the Pokemon trading card game. This is the English print.
BREAK cards were a distinctive XY era mechanic, printed sideways with a gold foil finish that evolved from a regular Pokemon to give it a boost in battle. Their unique horizontal layout and metallic look make them a recognisable and collectable subset within the era. Carbink BREAK sits in the main set numbering for Fates Collide, giving collectors a clean way to fill that slot. The BREAK style appeals to anyone who enjoys the unusual card formats of the XY years.
Collectors look for this card to complete a Fates Collide set, to gather BREAK cards as a subset, or to add a Carbink piece to a species collection. The gold BREAK finish makes it a standout for display.
