Camerupt EX 29/160 is an Ultra Rare from Primal Clash, a 2015 expansion in the XY era. EX cards were the premium pull of that period, identified by the EX suffix and a full holo finish, and they carried higher hit points and powerful attacks that made them centrepieces of decks at the time. Camerupt, the volcanic Pokemon, gets a striking treatment on this card that matches its rugged design.
Primal Clash is best remembered for the Primal Reversion cards that headlined the set, but the wider EX lineup is part of what keeps collectors returning to it. Camerupt EX appeals to those completing the Primal Clash EX run, as well as collectors who simply enjoy the bold full art and full holo EX cards from the XY years. It remains a recognisable pull from one of that era's larger expansions.
