This is Bisharp from the Black Bolt set, presented as an Illustration Rare. Bisharp is the bladed, commanding Pokemon known to fans as the Sword Blade Pokemon, and its sharp, armoured look suits the scene driven framing that Illustration Rares are made for.
Illustration Rares step away from the usual cropped portrait and instead set the Pokemon within a detailed background, letting the artwork tell a small story. The 143/086 number sits beyond the main numbered list, which is the standard position for these special art cards that arrive after the base set. Collectors enjoy them for the individual artwork on each one and the depth they bring to a finished set.
If you are building the Black Bolt Illustration Rares, or you favour Bisharp's striking design, this card is a solid addition that fits neatly alongside the other special art entries from the same set.
