Arbok EX 185/165 comes from the English 151 set, the collection that celebrates the original Kanto Pokemon from the first generation. Arbok, the evolved form of Ekans, is a long standing favourite from those early days, and the 151 set has kept nostalgia for the Kanto roster running high among collectors.
This is the Ultra Rare version, an EX card that pushes Arbok into one of the premium slots of the set. The EX label marks it as a powerful single Pokemon that can be worth two prize cards when knocked out in play, while the Ultra Rare treatment gives the card a polished, eye catching finish compared with the common and uncommon printings.
With a number of 185/165, the first figure sits above the set total of 165, which signals a secret rare slot beyond the main numbered list. That combination of a beyond set number, the EX card type and the broad appeal of a classic Kanto Pokemon makes Arbok EX a card many 151 collectors look to add.
