This is Applin 009/131 from Prismatic Evolutions, shown here in the Master Ball pattern. Prismatic Evolutions was a standout Scarlet and Violet era release, and the Master Ball reverse holo is the scarcer of the two patterned printings, swapping the usual holo foil for a repeating Master Ball design that runs across the whole card.
Applin is one of the early numbered cards in the set, and like every common and uncommon it received a Master Ball treatment that was seeded far less often than the standard Poke Ball pattern. That relative scarcity has turned even the smaller Pokemon into genuine targets for collectors trying to finish the full Master Ball run. The little apple Pokemon also has a loyal following, which adds to the appeal.
If you are chasing a complete set of Prismatic Evolutions Master Ball cards, or you just enjoy the patterned look, this Applin is a neat addition to the binder.
