Appletun V (026/264) comes from Fusion Strike, a Sword and Shield era set and one of the largest of its generation with a deep card list. Appletun is the rounder, apple themed evolution of Applin from the Galar region, a Pokemon known among trainers for its gentle design, which gives this V card a friendly character that collectors warm to.
The V mechanic was the headline card type of the Sword and Shield era, providing higher HP and stronger attacks in exchange for an opponent claiming an extra prize card when the Pokemon V is knocked out. Appletun V is presented in the full art style associated with V cards, showing the Pokemon at a larger scale than its standard printings.
Fusion Strike's size makes it a satisfying set for collectors to work through, and its V cards form a key part of that chase. A clean copy of Appletun V is a pleasant pick up for Galar fans and set builders alike.
