Amarys 232/187 is a Japanese Trainer card from the Terastal Festival EX set, a special Japanese expansion built around the Terastal phenomenon and the characters of the Paldea region. Amarys is a member of the Elite Four featured in the Scarlet and Violet games, and her appearance as a Supporter style Trainer gives collectors a card centred on one of the region's notable personalities.
This is the Special Art Rare version, numbered 232/187. Because the first number is higher than the set total of 187, it sits beyond the standard numbered run and is printed in a smaller quantity. Special Art Rare cards present the character through expanded, full art style illustrations that extend across the card, which is a major reason collectors seek them.
Japanese Special Art Rare Trainers attract collectors who value the artwork and the character focus, as well as those who prefer the Japanese print of cards that later appear in English sets. Amarys is a fitting addition for a Paldea themed collection.
