Alakazam EX 25/124 is an Ultra Rare from Fates Collide, a set in the XY era of the Pokemon Trading Card Game. The EX mechanic of this era gave certain Pokemon higher HP and stronger attacks, balanced by the rule that an opponent takes two prize cards when an EX is knocked out. That trade off kept EX Pokemon at the heart of competitive play throughout the XY years.
Alakazam has been a fan favourite since the earliest days of the franchise, and the EX treatment gives it a bold full art style with foil detailing across the card. Fates Collide is remembered for its mix of strong chase cards, and the Alakazam EX is one of the recognisable faces from the set.
Collectors look for the Alakazam EX 25/124 to capture a classic Pokemon in the XY era EX format, whether for an XY focused binder, an Alakazam line collection or a Fates Collide set build.
