Shiny Star is a Japanese-only Sword and Shield era set focused on shiny Pokemon variants, with a deep pull list that gives collectors plenty of chase targets across multiple rarity tiers. The set leans heavily into the Baby Shiny and Shiny Rare subsets, sitting alongside V and VMAX cards from the broader Sword and Shield run. As a Japanese print, expect tighter centring, glossier card stock, and a cleaner holo finish than the equivalent English releases, plus SAR and AR style cards that were never printed in the English run.
