The Set That Launched Generation Nine

Released in March 2023, Scarlet and Violet is the base set that kicked off the ninth generation of the Pokemon TCG. Built around the Paldea region and its dual legendaries, this set introduced the EX mechanic back into the main series and reset the numbering, art direction, and card frame for everything that followed. For collectors, it sits as the foundation block of the modern era, the set every Paldea pull list traces back to.

What You Will Find in This Collection

Our Scarlet and Violet singles cover the full rarity ladder. Pokemon EX cards are the headline pulls, with the Paldean box legendaries Koraidon EX 125/198 and Miraidon EX 081/198 leading the chase. Alongside them you will find the four Ruinous Pokemon and Treasures of Ruin EX cards including Great Tusk EX 123/198 and Iron Treads EX 233/198, plus regional favourites like Gardevoir EX 086/198.

Above the EX tier sit the Illustration Rares, full art cards with painted backgrounds that focus on a single Pokemon in its habitat. Special Illustration Rares go a step further, pairing a trainer or rare Pokemon with detailed scene work and a textured finish. We also stock Promo prints and Trainer supporters from the same era for deck builders and binder collectors.
