About the Generations Set

Generations released in 2016 as part of the 20th anniversary celebration of Pokemon, sitting within the XY era. The set is split into a main 83 card run plus the Radiant Collection subset (RC1 through RC32), which collectors often hunt as a self contained mini set. It leans heavily on Kanto nostalgia, which is why the original starters and Pikachu carry so much weight here, and it remains a favourite for players building XY era decks and for collectors filling out anniversary binders.

Cards Worth Chasing

The main set delivers the Mega Evolution lineup collectors recognise, including Charizard EX 11/83 and M Charizard EX 12/83, alongside Venusaur EX 1/83, M Venusaur EX 2/83 and M Blastoise EX 18/83. Golem EX 46/83 and Machamp Holo 42/83 round out the Kanto favourites in the main numbering. From the Radiant Collection, Charizard RC5/RC32 is the standout chase, with Jirachi RC13/RC32, Flareon EX RC6/RC32 and Yveltal RC16/RC32 also in steady demand from set builders.

Rarity Tiers in This Set

Generations uses the classic XY era tier structure. You will find common and uncommon Holo Rares such as Machamp Holo, EX cards for the Kanto starters and other favourites, Mega EX cards with their full card artwork, and Full Art Ultra Rares within the main set. The Radiant Collection subset is its own self contained chase, with shiny Pokemon, EX cards and Full Art versions all numbered out of RC32.

Every card listed is mint or better, sleeved and toploadered before dispatch. We ship Australia wide with tracked postage from our Brisbane base, and you are welcome to combine multiple Generations singles into the one parcel.
